Found some 'roman' type that I quite like. One thing I enjoyed during this brief was creating my own type, especially by drawing over Helvetica and creating a roman numeral style typeface with a serif etc. It was weird how different they look but how similar they are, they both fit on top of each other. This typeset looks quite cool

Alphabet Soup - Some more imagery

Here's some imagery I found later on that helped quite alot..
Some more imagery that's giving me ideas. The idea of something looking like it's being built, scaffolding, wireframes and the nail things u put in the ground to the hold things up and keep them in place. I think I subconsciously thought of this because of the scene from Gullivers Travels and tents

It's given me a few ideas, the letter that I'm probably going to make a set of 10 of is 'A'. I'll incorporate scaffolding and ropes etc into my letterform designs. Watch this space!

I think I may have put this in the wrong blog?! So I'll post this on here just to be sure as it is actually secondary research in a way. It'll bugger up the chronological order of everything else, as this is one of the first things I did once I got the brief but well here it is:
Thought I'd whack some imagery on my blog just to, hopefully, get the old brain working!

"Rome wasn't built in a day"
Literally searched "if you build it, they will come" and this appeared. Field of Dreams had the famous quote.
