THE REAL FIGHT CLUB

Posted on 06:12 by cena
Pretty interesting road to take maybe. Obviously the theme of 'fighting' is still quite broad at the moment but I find the concept of fighting for escapism and stress relief is an interesting route and more people should possibly take, after becoming more knowledgable in the area and overcoming the negative perceptions of it.

There's a boxing gym in London called The Real Fight Club which is a pretty hard-hitting name and great way of enticing people already familiar with the movie and the ideals of a fight club. Maybe a route to take would be to promote this gym and create branding material for it as I'm sure it can be improved drastically and I could be in contact with these guys about it.

Their main selling point seems to be "White-collar event" so I'm assuming it's boxing events aimed at the working individual which still links to the Fight Club concept. Cool!

Being a hero for six minutes. I like these taglines and feel it could really work across branding and editorial material such as posters, flyers and promotional packs of some sort. Captures your imagination

Celebrity boxing events, Ricky Gervais v Bovey came on tv a while ago and again tackles getting people into boxing, if celebs have done it, more people will be tempted to try it out.

One issue I have is, Although it's called THE REAL FIGHT CLUB, technically it's not, it's just boxing. I want to head down a more rounded MMA route, with more techniques and disciplines such as wrestling involved so in a real world fight, for self defence for example you'd be much better prepared and not so rigid in your skills too.
