DIAMONDSS

Posted on 03:43 by cena
After the progress crit (see design practice blog for more in depth analysis of crit) we've assigned ourselves roles. I'm going to be paying special attention to a sort of splash page/logo/emblem type idea. Basically saying "How To Buy A Diamond Engagement Ring" or something similar. It'll be on the website splash page, app and on the companion guide that you would take shopping with you after reading our in depth guide on either the app/website, or both.

I think it'd be cool if my logo incorporated a diamond of some sort as I think as an image alone it's pretty cool with all the lines and stuff, it's probably more interesting than an image of a ring. Here's some general imagery just so I have a reference.

^^top of a diamong is really cool, the colours are really interesting as obviously it reflects light within it and outwards, so you can get the whole colour spectrum inside a diamond.

This is cool, maybe a pattern of some sort could work on the website, logo/app? Or even the companion booklet as a nice little touch.

http://www.landaudiamond.co.uk/joomla/struttura/diamonds-available.html >> There's also different actual diamond shapes available, like square, oval, circle etc.

'Princess Cut'

'Asscher Cut'

Old European Cut

Hearts and Arrows Round

Brilliant Oval

Pear Cut

Cushion cut

Emerald cut
