Packaging examples // Info-pack

Posted on 14:54 by cena
Some various examples which I find interesting towards the packaging/housing for my info-pack products. Some of the examples are maybe not what you'd expect which could be quite a fun twist on it.

The folds on this folder are pretty interesting and add a nice curiousness to what's inside.

This folder is almost like a wallet or a portfolio with how it opens like a book with everything neatly laid out inside.

The bellyband idea works really well with this folder, the difference in materials works well too with the bellyband being made of a rubber/leather synthetic material.

Branding and Identity for Leeds based 'Passport' The consistent colour scheme and use of materials is inviting yet subtle too. The choice of stock for the package is interesting too with cardboard which could definitely be a good shout with mine as mine will need to be pretty thick in terms of thickness and will hold a fair amount of material - 8 booklets.

A simple fold out folder like this can work surprisingly well too, in my case with the volume of content inside I'll need to add some depth to the wallet with thickness and maybe stock too but it could definitely work and when folded it will leave a nice area to print on top of to create a cover.

Even a sample pack idea style could work well and be a relavant and unique take on an info-pack

Cardboard fold up box could also work well, especially in terms of holding the number of booklets I intend to make. The thickness is about right for placing on a bookshelf or storing too as I plan to with my product and package.

Bags! Maybe going down the route of some sort of 'graphic design takeout' which gives you information on different aspects.

Envelope style with lace fastening.
